Striped Confectionery Sunflower — Medium seed with the classic dark-and-light striped hull, sold in-shell for roasting, salting, and snack packing. Graded by size — specify the fraction you need.

EIC Quality & Certifications
We stand behind the quality of our sunflower seeds because we build long-term supply partnerships.
For independent verification, we accept third-party inspection by SGS or another inspection company of your choice, at the buyer’s expense. We welcome it on any container.
Our certificates and registrations include:
- NFSA registered with the Egyptian Food Safety Authority
- ISO 9001 & ISO 22000 certified for quality and food safety management
- FDA, DUNS, GACC (China), and MFDS (Korea) registered
View our certificates and registrations for support with import compliance.
Processing & Sorting: Both striped and white sunflower seeds are processed using Sortex optical sorting to remove discoloured, damaged, and defective seeds, achieving a minimum purity of 99%.
Beyond certificates, we rely on our family experience and reputation. Our roots in the herb trade go back to 1960, beginning with our grandfather. We protect that reputation with every shipment and seek lasting relationships with importers.

- 25 kg Polypropylene (PP) bags for standard bulk packing
- Customized B2B packing and private labelling available on request
Shelf Life: Confirm — typically 24 months under recommended conditions.
Storage Conditions: Store in a cool, dry environment, away from humidity. Sunflower oil content makes it prone to rancidity in warm or humid storage, and seed loaded above specification moisture can also develop mould in a sealed container.
Supply Capacity & What Affects Bulk Sunflower Seed Price
Supply Capacity:
- MOQ: 1 × 20′ FCL. Confectionery sunflower is bulky relative to its weight — 11 MT per container.
- Regular monthly shipping availability
- Contract-based programs for continuous annual-volume supply
What Affects Bulk Sunflower Seed Price:
- Size grade. The largest size is obtained by sorting and screening through an 8 mm sieve. Smaller sizes are available, but no size larger than 8 mm is offered. Quotes for different size grades are not directly comparable.
- Variety. White Sunflower | Striped Sunflower 601; price is determined by the required variety.
- Crop year. Sunflower is weather-sensitive, and the global market moves with Black Sea harvests; see our harvest season for sunflower seeds
- Order volume, packaging configuration, and contract term.
Because bulk sunflower seed price varies according to these factors, we quote each shipment individually rather than publish a fixed rate. For better planning, check our Egyptian Herbs, Spices, Seeds & Legumes Harvest Calendar to understand seasonal timing. Send us your type, size grade, and volume for an accurate quotation within 24 hours.

FAQs
Who are we?
We are a third-generation family business established in 2007, with family roots in the herb trade going back to 1960. We process our products in two facilities: manual processing for delicate products and mechanized sorting and processing.
What is the difference between striped and white sunflower seeds?
Both are confectionery types sold in-shell. Striped sunflower seeds have the classic dark-and-light hull and dominate most Western snack markets; white sunflower seeds and light-hulled types are preferred across the Middle East, Turkey, and parts of Asia. They are graded on the same size basis but sold into different markets.
Do you supply sunflower seeds for oil extraction, and what is the difference between confectionery and oilseed sunflower? No. We supply confectionery sunflower seeds only, in white and striped 601 varieties. Confectionery seeds are medium-sized and mainly used for in-shell snacking, roasting, food applications, and bird and parrot feed, while oilseed sunflower is generally smaller and selected primarily for its higher oil content and use in oil extraction.
Do you supply sunflower kernels? No.
Why does moisture matter?
Our family has been handling and processing a wide range of agricultural products, including sunflower seeds, for generations. We carefully control moisture during preparation and loading, and we place silica gel inside the container at loading to help control humidity and protect the seeds during transit.
Do you seek long-term relationships with buyers?
Yes. We serve customers across 21 countries spanning the Americas, Africa, Europe, Asia, the Gulf region, and Australia. We want every first shipment, and every shipment that follows, to strengthen trust and build a lasting partnership.
What is the MOQ, and how can I verify my order?
24 MT, and we are flexible for regular buyers. You can verify your order through a factory visit, video verification, or third-party inspection such as SGS at the buyer’s expense. Explore Our Process
