Egyptian Flax Tow, also known as Flax Re-scutched Tow or Arrous, is a natural flax fiber obtained after the extraction of long flax fibers during the scutching process.

The remaining fiber-rich material is further processed using specialized machinery to remove additional woody particles and impurities, producing clean flax tow bundles suitable for a wide range of industrial applications.

Unlike long flax fiber used primarily for fine linen spinning, flax tow is widely utilized in heavy-duty industrial manufacturing where durability, natural performance, and cost efficiency are essential.

How Flax Tow Is Produced

The production process follows several stages before the final flax tow bundles are obtained:
